It is with much grief and sorrow over the sad and irreparable loss of our beloved PULKIT Uncle, that We are trying to make an attempt to write a few lines to honour his memory.
The pain We all feel inside is mixed with so many emotions as We write these words.
We all, noticed that Pulkit uncle was ‘different’. A person of immense calibre and integrity. The traits that hit us the most was his honesty, calmness, simplicity and straight forwardness. He was always down to earth and non judgmental.
He was strong in mind and spirit. We suppose we never thought about his strength. We always thought of him as a quiet, even-tempered, humble and, ultimately, just a wonderful human being.
God came & called his name, & took him by his hand and so he had to go. Where ever he is, in Heaven I assume, Our greatest tribute to him is not grief but gratitude.
In respect and honour to him, his Name and who he was, on behalf of the entire Late Jagadishbhais family, all, We can truly say: We, Sarojben, Anup, Akita, Dhanushee, Rajeev, Rishab, Ishaan, Taruben, Lopaben, Meenaben and the entire Vithalbhai and AK Patel’s Family will miss him dearly in this world and the next. RIP.

My Dear Brother, You were my confidante. we will miss you dearly. You were there, always for me. You have not just talked but you have walked the walk. I need to learn and try to live by Your qualities of compassion, no gossiping, trusting other people, always smiling and ready to help, especially the disadvantaged once! You had no expectations, for doing all the good to others, not even name recognition. You took care of the entire family, what a big brother! You lived your life with these qualities, like you said in your book “my life is a lesson”. You lived by what you believed in, regardless of weather it was social norm or not. I remember you had guts to wear shorts inside the house during summer vacation from college, when it was hot. You did not think what other people will say. You were against child marriage and you resisted marriage at young age. You believed in equal rights for girls and boys. I remember when you asked your nephew to perform “Garbas” during “Navratri” when a girl was born. According to social norm, it was done only done for boys. You said, why not girls, and they did it. That also shows the respect you have earned, not only among your close family but among friends and society in general. I have witnessed that when we visited our high school and relatives homes together. When I started my college and came to visit you often in your medical school, I learned that you studied in medical without buying your own books. I have not met anybody yet who can do it. I have all the good memories of going to farm together to protect the crops in our young age. And how can I forget the trips we took together visiting “Kathiawad” in India and National Parks in USA.
Well, the name ‘Pulkit” says it all, Happy, Overjoyed and Smiling!
May God Bless your Soul! May you achieve Salvation! May Bhabhi and all family members get lots of strength and courage to pass through this difficult time.
Lots of Love!

Anju and I write this with a very heavy heart. We have not met a more compassionate, kind and loving person. He had zero ego and did everything in life with a smile and without any expectations. One recognized his personality by his wonderful sense of humor.
He touched us personally during our accident in 1994 and especially when I (Prakash) was afflicted by Covid in November 2020. He was pillar of strength for our family.
He will be dearly missed by us all. May his wonderful and blessed soul rest in peace.
With our respect and love
Prakash and Anju

Our deepest and sincerest condolences to the entire Patel family. We met Pulkit Uncle only a handful of times but he was so cheerful and so kind. We were so inspired after reading his book and so amazed to read about all of his accomplishments. We were even more touched that he called us a few months ago and we talked about so many things we had in common. May his life serve as an inspiration to all of us. 🙏

Very sad to read about Dr Patel. I had a few days of interaction with the Patels when they had me at their home during one of my breaks in college. Will never forget the warmth with which they hosted me. We even went to see Planes, Trains, and Automobiles during my visit to the Patels in Dec 1987) Dr Patel is the reason I am in the USA. He has helped tremendously in getting me to the USA for studies back in 1987.
My condolences to the family for their incredible loss.
Om Shanti.
I would love to speak to a family member if possible. I am in Dallas and my number is 945-273-9814
